High-Performance Grinding and Deburring

Through partnership, technology and service, Weiler Abrasives helps customers achieve their full potential for demanding applications in aerospace, automotive, foundries, and general industrial manufacturing.

WEILER ABRASIVES, developers of abrasives and power brushes for surface conditioning, will exhibit its high-performance grinding, finishing, and deburring solutions at IMTS 2026, in the North building at booth #237253. That presentation will highlight engineered solutions that help machining operations improve productivity, reduce bottlenecks, and solve demanding manufacturing challenges across precision grinding and automated deburring processes.

“Manufacturers are under constant pressure to improve throughput, consistency, and cost-per-part without compromising quality,” stated Kyle Thompson, director, Global Application Engineering at Weiler Abrasives. “At IMTS, we’re showing how Weiler helps customers take a smarter, more application-driven approach to grinding, finishing, and deburring. Our ‘Promise to Perform’ is about more than supplying products - it’s about partnering with customers to identify the right solution, optimize the process and deliver measurable results.”

Through partnership, technology and service, Weiler Abrasives helps customers achieve their full potential with solutions engineered for demanding applications in aerospace, automotive, foundries and general industrial manufacturing. IMTS visitors will learn how Weiler Process Solutions (WPS) supports that promise by bringing application expertise directly to the manufacturing floor. Through WPS, Weiler experts work with customers to analyze their specific challenges, optimize consumable usage, reduce waste, improve part consistency, and identify opportunities for measurable cost savings.

Other capabilities exhibited there will include:

Gear grinding. Weiler gear-grinding wheels are engineered for profile, continuous generating, and bevel gear-grinding applications, helping operations improve productivity, reduce downtime, and maintain consistent part quality in demanding production environments.

Turbine grinding. For difficult-to-grind superalloys used in aerospace applications, Weiler’s controlled-porosity wheels with self-sharpening bond systems help ensure a cool cut and consistent quality on highly automated production lines. These solutions support precision and process stability when grinding complex aerospace components.

Foundry grinding. Weiler offers solutions for foundry applications, including cups, cones, plugs, mounted points, snagging wheels and custom cut-off wheels. These products are available in multiple tiers, shapes and sizes to support common foundry grinding operations and help improve performance, productivity and cost efficiency.

Automated deburring brushes. Weiler wire and Nylox brushes are designed for automated deburring processes, helping manufacturers remove burrs and sharp edges while improving part quality, reliability, throughput and productivity.
