Fives HPM’s MMS - Mirror Milling Star

Fives HPM’s MMS - Mirror Milling Star is a digital machining package for high-speed milling, drilling, and trimming of 3D aluminum or composite fuselage panels. It allows high-volume production of skin panels and waffle parts for aircraft and space launchers. Thanks to its surface scanning system, the machining adapts to the real shape of the panel and the dual, six-axis heads arranged in a mirror guarantee an unequaled level of precision by controlling the symmetry and the thickness of the pocket depth bottoms, whatever be their complexity and diversity.

FIVES HPM will be making its debut as a unified organization at IMTS 2026, in the South building at booth 338578. The wide range of milling, boring, turning, and cutting machine technologies simplify processing of large, heavy, and complex workpieces.
