“Right now, we’re looking to increase production,” Ben Schawe, vice president of manufacturing at Mazak U.S.,” said about Yamazaki Mazak Corp. reaching $2.165 billion in worldwide sales for the 2007 fiscal year.

“We already have productionon- demand, our pull-through manufacturing system. We are evolving now to high productionon- demand. Our goal is to maintain the same excellent quality, the same efficiency, yet increase the number of machines we’re producing in Kentucky for U.S. customers and for export.”
