Bringing to Life AI-Powered Programming and Collaborative Manufacturing
MASTERCAM will offer manufacturers practical ways to improve productivity, reduce programming time, and address workforce challenges at IMTS 2026, in the East building at booth 133222, highlighting the ways modern manufacturing technology is evolving beyond standalone software.
Mastercam will demonstrate how connected manufacturing workflows can streamline the journey from design through production by integrating CAD/CAM, AI-assisted programming, simulation, tooling, and machining technologies into a unified experience. The exhibit will feature collaborative projects developed alongside multiple industry partners and Sandvik business units, highlighting how manufacturers can accelerate programming, reduce risk, and improve efficiency through connected digital processes.
In addition to live demonstrations, Mastercam will present several large-scale manufacturing projects created specifically for IMTS, including aerospace, additive, multi-axis machining, and advanced manufacturing applications.
These projects highlight emerging technologies such as AI-assisted toolpath generation, digital manufacturing workflows, advanced simulation, and next-generation CNC programming strategies.
Also, Mastercam will participate in the IMTS Conference, with a presentation titled "Rethinking Toolpath Creation: A Visual Approach to CNC Programming"; September 14, 2026 | 10:00–10:55 AM | Room W192-C.
The presentation will explore how manufacturers can move beyond traditional parameter-driven programming workflows through intelligent defaults, direct toolpath editing, visual programming methods, and automation-assisted processes that help reduce programming time and increase productivity.
