Importer SB MACHINE TOOLS will exhibit Nomura horizontal boring mills at IMTS 2026, in the South building at booth #338556. Nomura boring mills are built for longevity, accuracy, reliability, and heavy-duty performance.

Nomura DS is a manufacturer of high-precision CNC machine tools, specializing in Swiss-style turning machines and compact machining centers.

Designed with rigid construction, large ball screws and motors, hand-scraped wide slideways, and powerful gear-driven spindles, Nomura HBMs deliver both forceful cutting capability and the precision required for tight tolerances. The machines are developed and built with sturdy construction to provide reliable service over many decades. In one example, SB Machine Tools reports it received a customer’s first service request more than 20 years after installation.

The Nomura 4-in. table-type HBA-110T R3 has a 55 x 63-in. table with 15,400-lbs. capacity and travels of 78 in. X, 60 in. Y, 55 in. Z, and 19.7 in. W. Equipped with a 25/30 HP spindle motor, 4,000-rpm gear-driven spindle, and 40-tool magazine, it is targeted at producers of small to medium-sized components.

The larger, 5-in. table-type HBA-135P R5 offers a 71 in. x 79 in. table with 33,000 lb capacity and travels of 118 in. X, 91 in. Y, 55 in. Z, and 27.5 in. W. Its 50/60 HP spindle motor, 3,000 rpm gear-driven spindle, and 60-tool magazine make it well suited for large, demanding workpieces.

Optional rotary tables, U-Axis, and right-angle heads are available to expand the machines’ flexibility and capability.
