Igus recently released its new ReBelMove Pro autonomous mobile robot. In a company statement, igus said the customizable AMR is suitable for use in assembly workstations, material transport and logistics, and order picking, depending on its modular configuration.

According to igus, the ReBelMove Pro can move at a top speed of 6.5 mph, carry 550lbs, and pull 1,980lbs. The robot navigates using LIDAR, 3D sensors and a camera, can use its sensors to map 2,150 square feet in three minutes, and can run for a full eight-hour workday on a single charge.

Igus says it designed the ReBelMove Pro to be usefully integrated into existing processes without programming experience or writing code. The AMR can interface with IT systems, igus says, and is compatible with fleet management tools.
