Iron Bull Manufacturing released its skeleton hoppers January 6. In a statement accompanying the product release, the Marshall, Indiana-based scrap handling manufacturer said the hoppers collect skeletal sheet or plate metal left over from steel-cutting operations.
The company also noted the skeleton hopper can be used to accept and transport scrap steel and is dumpable from the cab of a forklift. Hoppers have a capacity of up to 7,000 pounds, Iron Bull says, and can be used in stamping, punching, laser or plasma steel cutting, as well as turret punching operations. The company also offers built-to-order hoppers.
