End-to-End Machining Solutions and Expertise

“Gaining an edge in today’s fast-paced shop environment involves more than just the tools you use; it’s about how your entire process works together from beginning to end,” according to Sandvik Coromant’s Veronica Messersmith.

SANDVIK COROMANT will be demonstrating its “comprehensive approach to solving real-world challenges in machining, metalworking and production” at IMTS 2026, in the South hall at booth #338348. Visitors will have access to consultants ready to collaborate on specific manufacturing challenges, from design and process planning to production logistics and machining. They may also gather experts’ insights on machine investment, tool selection, process evaluation, cutting strategies, CAM programming, verification, and other topices.

“Gaining an edge in today’s fast-paced shop environment involves more than just the tools you use; it’s about how your entire process works together from beginning to end,” stated Veronica Messersmith, Americas President for Sandvik Coromant. “At IMTS, we’re bringing together our full offer — tooling, digital solutions and expertise — into a collaborative space designed for problem-solving, with a focus on manufacturing wellness to help shops build more resilient, efficient operations across the entire value chain.”

From an interactive, 3D simulation table Sandvik Coromant will show how various components (including aerospace, automotive, and energy sector parts) are machined. Using examples like an aero engine casing and a fracking block, the presentation will provide tips for machine programming, set-up, and tooling selection, and application videos for each stage of the machining process.

Visitors also will find Sandvik Coromant milling, drilling and turning tools running in other exhibitors’ booths at IMTS 2026.

An immersive virtual reality kiosk will offer an exclusive tour of the Sandvik Coromant training center and production facility in Mebane, N.C., showing how the company tests and applies its own tooling, technology, and data-driven approach to achieve manufacturing excellence.

The Sandvik Coromant booth also will highlight Manufacturing Wellness, a concept that considers a holistic view of eight habits - from developing people to using technology and eliminating waste - to improve operations. Sandvik Coromant’s “yellow coat” specialists will provide Manufacturing Wellness assessments and scorecards to help visitors gauge their progress toward more efficient production.
