Newly introduced Omega Burs from SGS Tool Co. feature an aggressive, deep double cut tooth pattern for improved chip control and rapid stock removal in harder materials and with minimal chatter.

The burs have an enhanced geometry and a deep flute configuration for increased tooth strength, maximum stock removal, and improved productivity and cost savings. The company said this flute configuration also delivers increased tool life as compared with conventional burs, even when working in challenging applications such as mild steels, stainless steel, cast iron and other ferrous metals.

The burs are designed for use in a variety of industries including marine, shipbuilding, offshore maintenance and repair operations, foundries, automotive and metal fabrication.
