Interchangeable Reaming Head System

Iscar Metals Inc. (www.iscarmetals.com) says its Bayo T-Ream reamers with interchangeable carbide heads are best for mass-production industries because of their quick setup and indexing times. The interchangeable design allows one shank to be used for a number of hole diameters and materials. The reaming system is for blind and through holes and applications with cross holes or keyways.

The interchangeable heads, with internal coolant holes, have of a quick-change bayonet mechanism for applications of H7 hole-tolerance range. A key clamps and releases the bayonet screw mounting the carbide head to the steel shank. Solid carbide and heavy metal shanks are available.
