Toyota is building a new plant in Woodstock, Ont., to produce RAV4 SUVs. According to the automaker, the facility will open in 2008 with the capacity to produce 100,000 units annually and employ 1,300 workers. The proposed plant is about 25 miles from Toyota's Cambridge, Ont., plant, which produces the Corolla, Matrix, and Lexus RX330. That plant will manage the new one. The expansion represents a $650 million investment by the automaker. Go to Toyota.com for information.
