Mazak plans to expand the size and capabilities of its manufacturing facility in Florence, Ky. The expansion is planned to boost efficiency through improved workflow, and should be completed this month. It will add 50,000 sq.-ft. of floor space, and represents a $3.3 million investment.

Brian Papke, president of Mazak, said the expansion will enable the company to meet growing demand for machining centers, turning centers and multi-tasking machines.
