Edge Energy announced October 28 that its new fast-charging stations can be installed in areas without access to three-phase power. Developed with Lincoln Electric’s 50kW DC Fast Chargers and integrated with DC America’s EV charging platform, Edge Energy said the charging station can deliver high-performance charging for vehicle or other batteries through a single-phase 100kW connection.

The station can output electricity at 100kW for commercial, industrial, or public charging stations. According to Edge Energy, the platform design allows for relatively simple installation.

In a statement, Edge Energy CEO Shaun Shuler said the partnership with Lincoln Electric enables the charging station to bring fast charging to otherwise inaccessible locations.

“This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our mission to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy solutions,” Shuler said. “By unlocking fast charging in places where it was previously impossible, we’re helping communities and companies embrace the EV transition with greater speed, flexibility, and efficiency.”
