Finishred end mills Fast Metal Removal (F.M.R.) design does roughing and finishing applications in the same process. They are suitable for all types of steel as well as titanium, Inconel, and high-temperature alloys. The EFSI B44 Finishred end mill features four flutes with 45° helixes — two serrated flutes for roughing and two continuous flutes for finishing. Finishreds offer variable powerconsumption tooth geometries with special chip-evacuation capabilities. The roughing teeth take 30% less power consumption, and the finishing teeth take 30% more power consumption, which basically cancels out the power variance for a balanced cut.
