The CAT40 blanks are offered in 2.5 in. and 4 in. diameters with lengths of 8 in. and 6 in. respectively. CAT50 blanks are offered in 4 in. and 6 in. diameters with a length of 8 in.
BIG Kaiser says the simultaneous spindle and flange contact provided by BIG PLUS tool holders greatly enhances rigidity and repeatability, which yields many benefits in higher metal removal rates, higher accuracy,improved surface finish and extended tool life.
