Precision Technologies for Demanding Industrial Manufacturing

Three brands - Comco, Glebar, and Tridex Technology - will demonstrate complementary micro-abrasive precision and grinding technologies pr to address a broad range of industrial manufacturing challenges.

MEDICAL MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES INC., a developer of precision manufacturing equipment and solutions, will exhibit three product lines at IMTS 2026, in the North building at booth 237307 and also booth 237213. MMT brands Comco, Glebar, and Tridex Technology will present complementary micro-abrasive precision and grinding technologies designed to address a broad range of industrial manufacturing challenges.

Comco micro-precision sandblasting systems are widely used across various industrial markets in support of deburring, surface texturing, and selective material removal on high-value components. The proprietary Comco technology uses an abrasive stream that delivers pinpoint accuracy on parts such as aerospace fasteners, turbine components, and precision machined parts without compromising dimensional integrity.

IMTS attendees are invited to interact with Comco’s ProCenter Plus with AccuFlo, in addition to the JetCenter, a fully automated CNC MicroBlasting system designed for programmable, repeatable precision in high-volume production environments.

Glebar centerless grinding and form grinding will be demonstrated with the PG-912DG Centerless Form Grinder, highlighting a process used in the production of spherical and cylindrical components such as golf ball cores, fuse bodies, and crystal quartz glass boules for fiber optics. Glebar's broader centerless and micro-centerless grinding systems serve the aerospace, automotive, medical, consumer goods, and general industrial sectors, with proven applications. These include Nitinol and stainless-steel tubing, aerospace fasteners, ceramic shafts, carbide rods, PCD cutters, and rare earth magnets.

Tridex Technology will exhibit three platforms, including the CS1A Precision Abrasive Cutoff system designed to cut multiple bars simultaneously, hold length tolerances of +/-.001 in., and surface finishes consistently between 0.4 and 0.8 Ra, delivering repeatable precision and production volumes.

The DM12 offline CNC Wheel Dresser reduces machine downtime and ensures wheel consistency across grinding operations. The APM-SG is Tridex's newest platform, developed from the proven foundation of the existing SG-1645 and SG-2060 Surface Grinders. The APM-SG targets small-diameter, high-precision surface grinding applications including medical needle pointing and nut slotting for aerospace and automotive components.
