The M10 Power vertical machining center from Datron Dynamics Inc. (www.datrondynamics.com) is designed to machine non-ferrous materials such as aluminum and plastics using its 40,000-rpm, 3.0-kW high-frequency spindle.

The machine’s tool changer holds 11 small mills and drills with diameters ranging from 0.002 in. to 0.375 in. for applications in aerospace, medical and electronics. M10 X, Y, and Z work envelopes measure 40 in. by 28.5 in. by 9.25 in.
