Mazak Corp. has added a new capability to its website that allows customers to place and review orders for spare parts via the Internet. With an interface similar to those found on major retailers’ websites, customers can view past orders and track the shipping progress of current orders. Site users also can search for parts by part number or description and peruse the catalog of over 46,000 special part numbers. The on-line parts system lists price and availability.
