Micronor's (www.micronor.com) new MR2000 Series feedback transducers looks to the past as much to the future. The transducers are designed to be plug-and-play replacements for now obsolete units formerly manufactured by Baumer, Crouzet, Eucron and Micron, but can also be used in new equipment designs. Micronor says these feedback units can incorporate any combination of encoders, resolvers, potentiometers, tachometers, rotary limit switches and special interface or control electronics and are readily integrated with precision low or zero backlash gearing.
