Seven New Technologies Integrate Design and Automation, at IMTS 2016

Aug. 15, 2016
For tool, die, and mold production – or for any advanced machining operation – production technology must match the complexity that advanced product design is able to accomplish. New machining concepts aim to fulfill part designers’ vision for complexity through the production sequence and into the finished part.

In addition to higher levels of automation and process flexibility, new machining concepts aim to fulfill part designers’ vision for complexity through the production sequence and into the finished part. Systems being introduced at IMTS will demonstrate how manufacturers are able to enhance performance capabilities and productivity goals of machine shops while fulfilling the vision set for precision parts and components.
