Swiss cutting for internal grooving

The new SIGE internal grooving system from Kyocera Industrial Ceramics Corp, Cutting Tool Division features an internal screw-clamp holder and insert designs made from new material formulations.

The company said the system improves stability and extends product life when performing small-diameter internal grooving.

The system is available in Cermet and other coated-carbide grades.
