BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc. has expanded its Phoenix drill from six-times-diameter to include three-times-diameter and 12-times-diameter sizes. The drills are available in diameters from1 mm to 12.7 mm, in 0.1-mm increments, with coolantthrough from 2.5-mm diameter and a Helica coating. Special dimensions are available upon request.

The Phoenix drill’s high-performance flute and point geometry assure low cutting forces and optimum chip control. Internal coolant makes the drill good for cutting extra-hard materials such as steel, stainless steel, cast iron and titanium. Its ultrafine grain composition delivers high wear resistance and toughness for superior speeds and feeds.
