Full Range of Metrology and Precision Gaging Solutions

Starrett will be debuting a lineup of new solutions, including its HDV 250 digital comparator system, new electronic height gages, a new thread gaging line, and a new digital readout series for advanced gaging applications.

THE L.S. STARRETT CO., a manufacturer of precision measuring tools and gages, metrology systems and more, will be demonstrating its latest quality control inspection technology at IMTS 2026, in the East building at booth #134244. Starrett will be debuting a lineup of new solutions, including its HDV 250 digital comparator system, new electronic height gages, a new thread gaging line, and a new digital readout series for advanced gaging applications.

Starrett also will feature its full line of precision solutions from vision metrology systems and measuring tools to granite surface plate, laser, force measurement, and custom gaging.

The Starrett HDV 250 digital comparator increases surface illumination and enhances measurement capability via a high-resolution digital monitor, enabling better images via state-of-the-art comparator technology in a compact, shop floor friendly design.

Features of the HDV 250 include integrated LED ring light-based surface illumination for enhanced contrast and edge definition, a high-resolution digital video camera, micron-level accuracy and full digital documentation ability for SPC.

Other Starrett metrology solutions also will be featured, such as the AVR 400 vision system, it’s largest benchtop platform for measuring a wide range of parts; the HDV 400 CNC digital comparator, that combines the best features of a horizontal comparator and a vision system; and the MMS 1000 force measurement system for determining load, distance, break applications and complex material testing.

New electronic height gaging solutions

Starrett will present its new HG Series electronic height gages and new iterations of its 3700 series electronic height gages. The HG series is designed for intuitive and ergonomic operation, reliable measurement accuracy and increased productivity. A large touchscreen interface with clear icons and simple menu options is easy to learn and use and speeds up inspection. In addition, dual handles, an integrated air-bearing system and dynamic thumbwheel provides effortless positioning and movement.

Gages are offered in ranges of 0-14 in., 0-24 in., and 0-40 in. (0-350 mm, 0-600 mm, and 0-1000 mm.)

The Starrett 3756 height gages feature an all-new display design that has a large, easy to view backlit LED display along with a new, easy to use crank wheel for faster, reliable adjustment when measuring a number of different parts or features.

New electronic thread gaging line and new DRO Series

Starrett also will present the new 770 electronic internal micrometer series and 781 Accubore® electronic pistol grip series product line expansion, providing advanced, easy to use gaging for fast accurate thread measurement, offering an ergonomic and highly repeatable non-destructive way to measure thread pitch diameters. The new series provide instant measurement feedback and actual size readings that eliminates multiple trial cuts of threads. Interchangeable gage heads are furnished for measuring different thread and bore sizes, further enhancing inspection time savings.

The new Starrett Gx electronic digital readout series for advanced gaging applications performs single or multi-point gage measurements at very high levels of accuracy, utilizing formulas to define and display dimensions based on channel inputs. Multiple data views and data entry mechanisms enable flexibility and fast setup. A wide range of probe types and connectivity options are supported with the Gx series, and programming is intuitive and easy.

Comprehensive Starrett products and services

Rounding out the precision solutions to be featured in the Starrett booth will be a Starrett Tru-Stone granite metrology base, the innovative No. W4900 wireless digital indicators, micrometers, calipers, bore gages, a Starrett Bytewise Profile360 Blue Laser measurement system, and custom gage examples of Starrett special gaging capabilities.

Attendees are invited to bring their gaging and metrology challenges to the booth where Starrett engineers can provide demonstrations, technical support, or guidance on pursuing customized solutions when conventional products will not suffice.
