Demag’s crane kits are supplied with all components, including a wire rope hoist, end trucks, bridge panel, festoon system with brackets and push button station.

Demag Cranes & Components is offering pre-engineered kits for single-girder cranes in top-running or under-running configurations that allow installers to do their own on-site crane assembly. Every kit is shipped complete with all necessary components except the steel beams, which can be purchased locally to save freight cost.

Cleveland-based Demag Cranes & Components is a subsidiary of Demag Cranes AG, which manufactures industrial cranes and components, electric chain and wire rope hoists, and load handling attachments and accessories for material handling flow, logistics and industrial drive applications. Demag offers kits for other hoists and components, too, with varying capacities for regional crane building.

Crane kits are provided with all components, including a wire rope hoist, end trucks, bridge panel, festoon system with brackets and push button station. All kits are “plug and play” and no electrical work is required. The kits can typically be assembled in less than 21 hours, an extremely fast rate for the crane industry.

All of the components in the kits are manufactured by Demag to extremely tight tolerances, so assembly is quick and trouble-free. The tolerance standards also ensure structural integrity, longer service life, and reduced maintenance requirements.

Demag Crane kits are designed for builders of beam girder cranes in the 3-, 5- and 10-ton capacitis. Demag provides all specifications and instructions. (Onsite construction and maintenance services are available, too.)
