Diesel machining service acquires brake components manufacturer

Republic Diesel (www.republicdiesel.com), a provider of diesel engine related services in Louisville, Ky., has acquired neighboring A-C Brake (www.acbrake.com), a provider of brake system components.

Republic provides diesel engine machining services and aftermarket parts for cars, trucks, off-highway vehicles and industrial equipment. In addition to its Louisville operation, Republic has locations in Lexington and Prestonburg, Ky., and Fairfield, Ohio.
