Boeing Company said it plans to cut approximately 800 positions at its Integrated Defense Systems facility in Wichita during 2009. The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Electric Boat a $286 million contract for planning yard work, engineering and technical support for nuclear submarines.
