Gales Industries Incorporated has changed its name to Air Industries Group, Incorporated. (www.airindmc.com).
The company picked its new name to associate itself more completely with the strong brand recognition that its primary operating subsidiary, Air Industries Machining Corp., has in the aerospace industry.
The company said it believes the new name better conveys its reputation for engineering and manufacturing excellence that it built over nearly four decades of working with aerospace companies around the world. The name change was ratified by the company’s shareholders and was put into effect immediately.
"Air Industries Group, Inc. better characterizes the company’ss successful expansion through acquisitions, consolidation and internal growth strategies,” Peter Rettaliata, chief executive officer of Air Industries Group Incorporated, said.
The name change is accompanied by the company’s recent marketing campaign that includes branding itself, and new logos for the parent company and its subsidiaries. The company also said it will soon introduce a new website.
Air Industries Group employs more than 200 people in its two operating subsidiaries, located in various sites on Long Island, New York.
