The manufacturer of Synergic.Pro MIG/MAG welding systems claims its electronic, continuously-adjustable choke provides better ignition qualities and stable arcs. The choke is characteristic controlled, so optimum process data comes automatically according to a combination of material, gas, wire diameter, and switch steps. The machine has a database of over 500 process-data sets for synergic welding.

Operators need only set welding voltage to enable welding energy selected according to material thickness. A digital processor control has synergy characteristic curves for important materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum; welding wire diameters; and gas types.
