Expanding collets

Econo-Loc expanding collets from Rovi Products Inc. hold parts internally when there are no collet fixtures or actuators for lathes or mills. They operate manually by turns of socket head eccentric cams. The cams push tapered plungers inside the collets, causing them to expand. The company says its collet design works well with blind-hole parts because there are no expanding screws in front of the collets.
