Tooling insert options

Toroid cutting tools from Dapra Corp. sport high-feed inserts with cutting geometries for feedrates up to 0.90 ipt and 600 ipm. These inserts are well-suited for pocketing, core/cavity roughing, face roughing and ramping/helical interpolation.

A second Toroid insert option is a 90 degree with square corners. Besides square-shoulder applications, these inserts economically profile; slot; step, plunge, and face mill; and helical interpolate cored holes.
