The Okuma & Howa Millac Series 44V machining center has a silent ballscrew with center cooling and an advanced hybrid lubrication system that delivers 1,417-ipm (36,000 mm/min) rapid traverse and 787-ipm (20,000 mm/min) cutting speed. An 11/18.5-kW motor powers the machine's 12,000-rpm spindle, and a cooling unit with inverter control comes standard. Advanced toolclamp force reduces chatter for machining even tough metals.
