Rotary table option for maching centers

Makino's 1-Series a51, a61 and a71 horizontal machining centers are now offered with a 5-axis rotary table (5XR) option for manufacturing applications that require maximum throughput and reliability. Maximum pallet load for the table is 330 lbs. Disk plate diameter is 12.80 in., with a work zone diameter and height of 27.60 by 15.75 in. B-axis travel is 210 degrees (-60 degrees to +150 degrees) with the C-axis travel a full 360 degrees. The 5XR units come with Makino's Pro 5 controller and Geometric Intelligence (SGI.4) servo control software. (www.makino.com)
