The machine features a 50-taper, 8,000-rpm spindle built around a two-speed, geared head that delivers 425 ft-lb of torque from 50 to 400 rpm. The VM30XP also offers 1,500-ipm rapid traverses and a 32-pocket, arm-type, automatic toolchanger.
