Double-station HDL vises from Kurt have a quick-change jaw feature and a 4-in. hard-jaw opening for each clamping station. The vises come with machinable aluminum, cast iron, or hard jaws and easily convert from manual to hydraulic operation.

The vises are 21-in. long and 6-in. wide. The manual model delivers 6,316 lb of clamping force at 70 lb of torque, while the hydraulic model delivers 7,800 lb of clamping force at 5,000 psi. Clamping repeatability is to 0.001 in. for both models. HDL vises have self-adjusting holding blocks for either front or back jaw, for clamping the same or dissimilar-sized parts. An adjustable preload feature reduces handle turns for opening and closing the vise.
