Largest Machining Center

Toyoda Machinery introduced the FH1250SX at EMO, its largest horizontal machining center. The machine is based on its FH-SX series of machines and has a work envelope that provides room for workpiece sizes of 94.5 in. by 70.9 in. Its worktable supports loads to 10,000 lb. A 60-hp, 8,000-rpm high-torque machine spindle pumps out 737 ft/lb of torque.
