The jet builder is coordinating a program with a Brazilian university to accelerate training of computing and engineering specialists to work in the aerospace sector

Brazilian aircraft OEM Embraer is establishing a software specialization program for computing and engineering professionals, among others, in order to accelerate training of specialists to work in the aerospace sector. The project is being coordinated with the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE.)

The program It will take in recent UFPE graduates or those with some experience who are interested in the university's graduate degree and offer future employment opportunities at Embraer in development of intelligent systems.

In three instructional modules, the nine-month program will include distance-learning for theoretical information and in-person classes at Embraer locations and allow candidates to specialize in "embedded software" or "digital technologies."
