At IMTS this year, Datron Dynamics will launch its new Datron C5 high-speed milling machine. This will be the first demonstration of this machine in North America.

The Datron C5 was developed for cost-effective, high-precision, simultaneous five-axis machining of small parts. It is capable of machining titanium and steel (in addition to non-ferrous metals and abrasive materials) and can accommodate parts up to 100 mm in diameter, making it capable of producing highly-complex geometries of medical components and micro mold making.

With a low-vibration design, rigid 48,000 RPM spindles, precision ball screws and Heidenhain linear scales, the C5 is equipped to deliver superior surface finish and industry-leading accuracy.
