The most recent analysis of the CAM software market produced by CIMdata, Inc. (www.cimdata.com) shows that CNC Software’s Mastercam (www.mastercam.com) still remains the most widelyused CAM software. Mastercam software has been the leading package for 14 years .
“There is a lot of competition in the CAM market today, and we are pleased to be at the top,” Mark Summers, president of CNC Software, said.
Alan Christman, chairman of CIMdata, said Mastercam has the largest number of installed seats, and ranks #1 in both the industrial and educational markets.
