Flow International Corp. established a commercial partnership with USG Robotics Inc. that will offer greater productivity to fabricators in the stone-cutting industry thanks to new capabilities. The intent is to provide advanced software capabilities for automation devices used by stone cutting and fabricating shops.
USG Robotics offers robotic solutions to simplify process in fabrications shops, and has been involved with the stone industry for over 25 years, notably with solutions to simplify and streamline fabrication shops.
“We wanted to align with the leading waterjet supplier to ensure our innovations reached the broadest audience,” stated USG Robotics owner Tom Gust. “Joining forces with Flow means that we can be assured that our customers have the finest waterjet technology as well as an extensive support service network.”
Flow International develops and manufactures ultrahigh-pressure waterjet systems for cutting and cleaning in automotive and aerospace industry processors, job shop, stone interiors, surface preparation, food and dozens more.
“We are excited that this partnership between Flow and USG Robotics will provide machinery that combines waterjet cutting technology with that of saw cutting,” according to Flow International product manager Tim Fabian. “USG Robotics has many years of experience in the industry and has exclusive capabilities that are uniquely suited to the Stone Industry.”
