Ouch, Another Metal Splinter

I use a modified pair of tweezers to remove those nasty metal slivers from hands and fingers. To modify the tweezers, I wrap a rubber band tight around the tweezer jaws to keep them closed. I then grind them to a needle point on a grinding wheel and finish the point by hand on a sharpening stone.
