Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. said the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) renewed its Nuclear and Pressure Vessel Certificates of Authorization. Only 16 other U.S.-based companies have the same nuclear certifications as Teledyne Brown. Read More

Honda Enhances North America Flexible Manufacturing Network
Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, LLC began mass production of its, 4-cylinder Honda Civic sedan at its new facility in Greensburg, Indiana. The $550 million facility will ultimately produce 200,000 vehicles, and employ 2,000 associates at full capacity. Read More

Goodrich To Supply Sonar Domes To U.S. Navy
Goodrich Corp. has received a contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Crane to provide sonar domes for U.S. Navy surface combat ships. The five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is potentially valued at up to $33 million and covers deliveries through 2013. Work will be performed by Goodrich's Engineered Polymer Products team in Jacksonville, Fla. Read More

Boeing Licenses Goodrich On Landing Gear Spare Parts
Goodrich Corp. has entered into a data license with The Boeing Company allowing the use of detail engineering design to obtain Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA) for replacement landing gear spare parts. The license will permit Goodrich to manufacture licensed PMA parts under Goodrich's FAA approved quality system and distribute directly to operators. Read More
