The seminar will educate manufacturers on how to overcome post-recession manpower challenges through the use of automation. Seminar discussions, presentations, and an off-site plant tour to a local laser cutting services company will all center on and reinforce the impact of automated machine functions and using automated material handling to increase capacity, even in job shop environments.
This educational event will include an off-site tour of the Pinnacle Precision manufacturing facility. A highlight of the tour will be the companys Mazak Optonics Hyper Gear laser machine, incorporated into a fully automated flexible manufacturing system (FMS). Mazak Optonics was the first manufacturer to develop such an FMS laser cutting system, and the company offers configurations that include load/unload cells, automated parts sorting and factory automation.
