Braun appointed chairman/CEO of Rofin-Sinar

Laser cutter and marker manufacturer Rofin-Sinar Technologies Inc., Plymouth, Mich., and Hamburg, Germany, added chairman and CEO duties to the responsibilities of CFO Gunther Braun. Former Chairman and CEO Peter Wirth, who suffered a stroke in January, remains executive chairman of the board. Braun has been Rofin-Sinar's CFO since 1996.
