Master Chemical sells business units

The Andersons Inc., Maumee, Ohio, has purchased two metalworking-related businesses from Master Chemical Corp., Perrysburg, Ohio. Hydroflow Filtration Systems and Systems Equipment Division have become part of The Andersons' Rail Group. Agreement terms were not disclosed. Hydroflow Filtration Systems makes fluid-filtration systems for the metalworking market, while Systems Equipment Division produces fluid-recycling units. Known for its general merchandise retail stores, The Andersons also operate a steel-fabrication business, rail car repair facilities, and rail leasing and management services.
