Benchmarks Point Toward Excellence American Machinist conducted a survey of machine shops from February 1 through March 12, and the complete set of raw data available to anyone who wants to use it via our Internet site, www.americanmachinist.com. The data from the 2007 survey will be posted by July 15 under the "Community" hot button near the top of our home page. It will be listed alongside the complete data from last year's survey, so that you can use and compare results from both years. We changed our survey slightly this year -- to fine-tune - but the majority of information is comparable between the two years.
