Beckhoff KL2531 and KL2541 stepper motor terminals are compact and cost-effective I/O alternatives to traditional stepper controls. They integrate a compact motion control for small stepper motors up to 200 W and eliminate remote amplifiers. Only 12 mm, the KL2531 easily integrates into a 24-V, DC-control voltage system. With a peak current of 5 amp, KL2541 modules reportedly offer performance comparable to that of small servo drives. The 50-V, DC supply voltage enables speeds with notable torque and mechanical output. KL2541s include incremental encoder interfaces.
