Weingärtner says its MPMC machine can provide turning, milling, drilling, whirling, hobbing, and measuring capabilities in one unit, and it provides economical multitasking in a rigidly built machine tool. The company is targeting a variety of industries for the machine, including the automotive, aerospace and mining industries, and the production of molds for the plastics industry and components for the power-generation industry.
