The dry ice blasting technology that has been used to clean the large molds used to make automotive components and tires now is available for smaller and more intricate molds.
Cold Jet LLC (www.coldjet.com), the leading provider of dry ice cleaning technology, says it has developed a new, precision cleaning system that projects a targeted stream of dry ice particles shaved from blocks to clean small, deep and/or complex cavities, molds and crevices that traditional dry ice blasters cannot reach.
Cold Jet says its I3MicroClean system can cleans these small, deep, complex and sometimes delicate surfaces faster than traditional methods, without abrasion and often without disassembly.
