CoroMill 365 facemilling cutters from Sandvik Coromant Co. (www.coromant.sandvik.com/us) are designed for roughing and semifinishing of cast iron in large series production or high-volume applications, and can be used in machining centers or transfer lines.
The company says the CoroMill 365 wedge clamp design and close-pitch cutters allow for machining at high table feedrates. The cutters' Multi-Edge concept contains eight cutting edges that produce-burr and frittering-free machining-with up to 0.24-in. depth-of-cuts. They are available in diameters from 1.97 in. to 6.3 in
