R219.19 full-radius copymill cutters from Seco-Carboloy are for semifinishing and finishing operations in a range of materials. Available from 0.315 to 1.250-in. diameters, the copymills have a single precision-ground, replaceable ballnose insert. With chisel center points, the cutters ramp into components or drill to shallow depths for milling. Fine finishes are possible using R219.19 copymills, especially when
programmed with small stepovers.
Single-blade R219.19 copymills are for high-speed finishing and general copying of component features. The cutters work for scanning components, copying profiles, or machining internal features or external profiles.
Two-point locators, positioned and locked into the hardened-steel cutter bodies by ground center screws, provide high stability for accurate machining. A PVD-coated, micrograin-carbide grade is for all materials.
